Anniversary
This sidecar was created to celebrate the 10th year of visceral passion. The concept is designed to combine the two factories that have always been rivals: Harley Davidson and Indian. The bike is built by inserting a 1940 UH 80” HD engine (a real tractor) into a 1928 Indian Scout 101.
The project was really challenging due to the difficulty of implementation and the arduous search for original period parts. I can say with certainty that the only search for original components of that period lasted 5 years and was conducted far and wide between fairs and markets throughout Europe.
The aluminium sidecar was built by hand. Once again, I have decided to rely on my friend Davide Aresi, a cabinetmaker inlay, for a complete cabinet-making work (internal and external) in California briar. The frame of the ship is dated 1918 and is original Harley Davidson. For the wheels I chose to rely again on Jonich Wheels who took care of the development and production. The leather parts were made by Wild Hog.
Anniversary is confirmed in 2nd place in the Retro Mod Class of AMD World Championship held in Koln in 2018.
