Chicca was born from a friend’s desire to give a unique style to his 1970 HD Shovelhead sidecar. I combined a Zeppelin-type sidecar in aluminium on a wooden body, its interior was cared for by the inlay cabinetmaker friend Davide Aresi who entirely plated the interior in Santos rosewood and created a seat inlaid in brass on which is written the name of the motorcycle.
The frame, made rigid to obtain an older line, features Jonich Whells 80 spoke wheels that are braked by Kustom Tech drums. One of the most challenging projects I’ve ever dedicated myself to. The candy red painting on a base entirely in gold leaf makes it an unrivalled jewel.
In 2014 Chicca was awarded with the 3rd place in the AMD World Championship reserved for one-off motorcycle manufacturers and it has also appeared on several world covers of trade magazines.
